The Crocodile River has its source in the Witwatersrand mountain range, originating in Constantia Kloof, Roodepoort, Gauteng. Just north of Lanseria Airport is its confluence with the Jukskei River.
Further on into the North West, the Crocodile expands into scenic Hartbeespoort Dam.
